U.S. News would like to update AIR members on the latest U.S. News' 
plans for the 2009 Edition of America's Best Colleges to be published 
in August 2008. 

DATA COLLECTION for the main, financial aid, and finance surveys began
March 21, 2008. Each of your school's contacts should have received an
email from a US News Data Researcher with details on how to access the
online surveys. If you are a survey contact and you did not receive 
the emailed survey notice, please contact Vachelle Manly, Data 
Collection Manager, at mailto:vmanly@usnews.com. 

THE RANKINGS/GUIDE IS SCHEDULED TO BE PUBLISHED THE WEEK OF AUGUST 
25, 2008. The new rankings are tentatively set to be published online 
on Friday August 22, 2008. In mid-August, U.S. News will again update 
AIR members on the details of the data release. Any school that 
completes the U.S. News Main or Financial Aid survey will get a free 
12-month pass, starting around August 22, 2008, to the U.S. News Best 
Colleges premium online web site.
