Founded in 1930, The Journal of Higher Education (JHE), published by Ohio State University Press, is the leading scholarly journal on the institution of higher education. Articles combine disciplinary methods with critical insight to investigate issues important to faculty, administrators, and program managers. The JHE is published bimonthly: January, March, May, July, September, and November.

Current AIR members can subscribe online to the journal for $45.00 in the United States, $87.00 (USD) for International and $89.25 (U.S. Dollars) for Canadian orders a year through the Association.
